We think that you'll enjoy driving our diverse fleet of electric vehicles and invite you to try one out. Electric vehicles are a great option for short trips around town or even weekend getaways.

Electric vehicles are perfect for driving around the city. Engineered to be the perfect car for the urban environment, the Mitsubishi i-MiEV can park in the tightest spaces, breeze through traffic like a dream, and still comfortably accommodate four adults plus luggage.

Electric Vehicle Trip Planning
Before you make your electric vehicle reservation, be sure to ask yourself the following questions:
- Will the 70 mile range of my electric vehicle be enough to get me to my destination?
- Will I have access to a three-pin 240 volt power outlet?
- Is there a Source London charging station nearby or on the way?
- Will I have time to park and charge?
Know your charging options
Recharging options are only necessary if you expect to take the vehicle out of it's range. Otherwise, you can return the vehicle at its current state of charge and we'll fully charge the battery for you at the location.
Don't panic
It's common for first time electric vehicle drivers to feel ‘range anxiety'. Remember, all Hertz On Demand vehicles include in-vehicle access to our 24 hour Member Care Centre, and we are ready to assist you at the touch of a button. If you are worried that you won't make it back to the location with enough charge, just call the Member Care Centre. They will be happy to guide you to an alternative drop-off point, or help you with roadside assistance.
